File Sharing Filtering
PureSight PC allows you to control which applications and programs are allowed to communicate with your computer online. For example, with this feature you take control of Internet file sharing so that you can control what music and video files you allow your children to access.
Programs and application such as instant messengers (as MSN Messenger and ICQ) and file sharing programs (as Emule) connect with each other via Peer-2-Peer protocols. Blocking specific protocols means blocking specific applications, and the way they connect to the Internet.
Puresight PC supplies a constantly updated list of most common Peer-2-Peer protocols and you can choose whether to enable or disable a specific protocol as you see fit.
