Cyber bullying workshops in New Hampshire Schools

In response to increasing concerns about cyber bullying, the New Hampshire Department of Education Office of Safe and Drug-Free Schools is collaborating with the NH Attorney General's Office and the NH Department of Safety in sponsoring a series of workshops for educators, which will take place in January 2010.

The workshops are being provided free for any educator who wishes to attend.

The workshops will address the following issues:
  • The practical issues involved in addressing cyber bullying in schools,/li>
  • The unique issues of cyber bullying
  • Intervention and response strategies
  • Roles of educators, students, and parents in developing a positive school climate
  • The role of comprehensive school policies
  • Social and emotional implications of the cyber bullying bullying dynamic
  • Selecting curriculum to enhance school climate
